Description
This is a special small group class experience that offers the opportunity to work directly with diverse clients in a small group setting. We’ll collectively and thoughtfully guide them through intake, treatment plans, and follow ups.
In this nine session class we will:
- Explore the foundations of working with people by conducting thorough client evaluations (including case history, customized intake forms, counseling skills, and feedback suggestions), creating a comfortable environment, approaches for working with acute versus chronic issues, and legal considerations for conducting herbal consultations.
- Learn to evaluate and help meet a client’s need from a whole person perspective.
- Focus on helpful botanical protocols, duration of treatment, what to expect and when to alter treatment plans.
- Develop insightful and appropriate adjunct and holistic therapies.
- Discuss current herbal news and research.
2025 Class Dates: January 14, 21, and 28; February 4, 11, 18, and 25; March 4 and 11
About Your Teacher:
Jane Bothwell founded Dandelion Herbal Center in 1987. She has been a practicing herbalist, educator, hypnotherapist, and flower essence practitioner for decades where she has touched many lives–both as a practitioner and a teacher! We are so fortunate to have coaxed Jane out of the garden and away from her travels to join us back in the classroom for this special class series.
